MORE GOOD NEWS! Maddison appears to be on the road to recovery. She is no longer needing the oxygen tent, her iv fluids were decreased and she is eating well. The nurses and the respiratory therapists say that her chest is sounding much better. All of her skin color is back and she is very alert. Hoping to bring her home early in the week if she continues to recover like she's doing.

FINALLY some good news!! The doctor came in this morning and said it appears that she is "rounding the corner" He said she is still a sick baby, but there are indicators that show that she is improving a little bit. A chest xray showed yesterday that she has some mucus patches on her lungs that look like pneumonia so they started an antibiotic for that. She had a very good night and is starting to eat well again. The doctor still won't give a duration of time for us to stay at the hospital. We will take any good news that we can get. She has been very alert and looks healthier.

Monday-Wednesday
As of Monday, Maddison has been in the hospital with RSV (respiratory syncytial virus). The virus peaks and is at it's worst on day 5. We think that Maddison is probably on day 5 now. She is very congested and has a terrible cough. She continues to struggle with her feedings. Say your prayers that she gets better and can go home soon. We love her so much!!
